Wow....it's been forever! Glad to say that I have been getting much better at couponing! Loving Rite Aide and Walgreens! So my ultimate goal this year is to acutally track my monthly spending and savings! I've been really good about tracking my spendings on excel and I hope to continue it throughout the year. So far my savings from coupons and deals are at $112! I hope that number gets a lot bigger!
I also hope to blog here more often on my findings! Don't hold me to it as of yet though! I'll try!

been MIA here
Hi! I've been MIA for a bit but I have been picking up great deals! I'll update later on what I have been purchasing with coupons. My Dh thinks I'm buying things we don't need that we have been doing fine without! :( I have to admit I've been a little "glade" and "airwick" crazy. They are such great deals after coupons I can't help it! Well, being new to couponing I've made a few mistakes and have learned at Walgreens with fillers! Couponing have been fun for me I get so excited when my oop cost is less then $10.00! I actually had to go buy us shampoo without coupons because we only use a certain brand. I was disappointed not havong any coupons!

More coupon savings
I made a stop by Walgreens today to grab the newspaper for all the coupons this weekend...and was totally surprised that the Sunday paper was $2.00! Yes, it shows how long it have been since I have purchased a Sunday paper. My DH tagged along and insisted that we buy him liquid creamer for his coffee. Luckily I had the coffee mate buy two $1.50 off coupon. Walgreens is having a sale on the creamer 2 for $5. Although, it was oringinal flavor not his perffered French Vanilla he said when he thought about the savings he's ok with it.
At Target I bought Wet Ones using a $1.00 coupon. Not big savings but Dh is now interested in how much I really saved.

Loving Target
I needed a baby boppy for a photo session today, and decided to buy it from Target because they were selling Bare Naked Boppy's for $19.99! I didn't want to buy one for $30.00! I came home after the photo session and looked inside the baggy and found that included with my purchase is a one-year subscription to Parents magazine a $7.00 value. I was glad when reading the fine prints on the Parents subscription card that you can ask for a refund if you do not want the magazine! Yeah! I liked buying the item on sale and then to recieve a deeper unexpected discount is so awesome!

First Coupon trip to Target
I finally went out Sunday to Target using coupons. I was nervous, because this was my first trip buying items with coupons and first time ever using coupons in Target. I know it's a small step, and the savings wasn't huge but I'm happy!
The cashier looked at my printed coupons and told the supervisor all my coupons were online coupons and didn't even try scanning first. The supervisor told him that it's fine as long as they scanned. They all scanned without any problems.
Savings: $16.38

Making Life Changes
I'm a mommy of three and wanted to make a life style change to start saving more cents! I'd like to be able to keep as many pennies as I can. This will be my diary of my spending habits so I can better track my process to spending less and saving more.
This was my four day weekend and I'm proud to say I didn't spend on unnessary items! I went to a babyshower and won "two free movie tickets" which I can definately use! We did splurge a couple of weeks ago and spent 1399.00 on a 40" Samsung LED flatscreen tv from Best Buys. It was on sale this weekend for 1299.00 so we were able to get a price match of 108.00 back!
